- What is the working area conditions (temperature, moisture etc.)?
- What is the strapping load temperature?
Determination of necessary strap breaking strength
Проверьте может ли использоваться лента (Load Weight x 1.5) / Applying strap quantity = Strep breaking strength For example: Max pallet weight is 100 kg; 3 straps are applied (1000 x 1.5) / 3 = 500 kg Breaking strength of necessary strap should be more than 500 kg.
Determination of necessary strap tensioning
Strap tensioning should not be more than 40% of its breaking strength For example: polyester strap 15.5 mm x 0.76 mm Strap breaking force is measured in kg Constant is 0.4 PET strap 15.5 mm x 0.76 mm breaking force is 600 kg Necessary strap tensioning: 600 kg x 0.4 = 240 kg For example: steel strap 19 mm x 0.6 mm Strap breaking force is measured in N/mm2 Steel strap 19 mm x 0.6 mm breaking force is 850 N/mm2 Constant is 0.4 N / 9.85 = kg. Strap breaking force: 19 x 0.6 x 850 = 9 690 N 9 690 x 0.4 = 3876 N Necessary strap tensioning: 3 876 x 9.85 = 394 kg
